BORDUMSA: Acting on a tip off, Bordumsa Police under the command of Sub-Inspector P.Tatu, OC and SI T. Langching with assistance from ASI A.K. Biswa raided the house of Doni Chakma of Bijoypur–I village under Bordumsa PS on March 29 and managed to seize brown sugar weighing more than 50 gram along with cash Rs. 61, 740/-weighing apparatus and huge quantity of drugs packaging materials and inhaling pipes from the house. But under the cover of darkness, the peddler Doni Chakma yet again managed to doze the police who have been trying to nab him. A case has however been registered at Bordumsa police station and police has started the manhunt
The seized materials with cash amount were produced before the court of Kento Riba, Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bordumsa with the preliminary case investigation report by the investigating officer for taking cognizance.
